I recently ran across a discussion on how to handle personal safety concerns with a strongly ideological bent. When it comes to safety, both mine and others, I go completely practical. It is an in the moment, physical thing. You have to think rationally and react without second guessing yourself.You have to be totally grounded in physical reality or you will likely be dead. Abstract concepts and ideologies will not help you they will get you killed.
